Injectables that respect your face
Good injectable work is rarely noticed for the product. People notice that you look rested, or that your lips finally feel balanced with the rest of your face. At Haus of Wellness, our nurse practitioner starts every injectable plan by studying how your face moves, where volume has shifted, and what you want to change. You leave the consultation with a clear plan, not a list of every syringe we carry.
Xeomin and Dysport: the Botox family
Xeomin and Dysport are the neuromodulators we offer; they are in the same family as Botox. They temporarily relax the specific muscles that create expression lines, such as the furrow between the brows, forehead lines, and crow's feet. If you have had Botox elsewhere, our provider can explain how a Xeomin or Dysport plan compares and discuss an approach based on your face, goals, and clinical evaluation.
Dosing is individual. We would rather start conservatively and adjust at a follow-up than leave you looking frozen. Results vary based on your muscle strength, the area treated, and how your body responds.
Sculptra for gradual support
Sculptra is a biostimulator rather than a traditional filler. Instead of placing immediate volume, it is designed to encourage your own collagen over a series of sessions, which makes changes gradual. It can be a thoughtful option to discuss if you notice overall softening through the temples, cheeks, or lower face and prefer a slow, subtle approach.
The Restylane family
Different areas of the face need different filler properties, which is why we work with several Restylane products:
- Restylane Kysse, often chosen for lip enhancement with natural movement
- Restylane Lyft, used for cheek contour and volume
- Restylane Classic, for lips and fine lines
- Restylane Refyne and Defyne, for smile lines, with Defyne also used to define the chin
Lip enhancement and jawline contouring
Lip appointments are some of our most personal conversations. Goals might include more definition along the border, restoring faded volume, or better symmetry. Jawline contouring is a different goal: sharpening the line from chin to ear so the lower face looks more defined in profile. In both cases we map the treatment to your proportions rather than a trend.
What your appointment looks like
Your first visit begins with a consultation. If you decide to proceed, we cleanse the area, mark injection points, and work in small, deliberate steps. Your provider will review aftercare, what to avoid for the rest of the day, and when to return for a check-in.
Because injectables are medical treatments, we only move forward when they are clinically appropriate for you. If something else would serve your goals better, such as an Aerolase laser plan for texture, we will tell you.
Aftercare and planning your next visit
After a neuromodulator treatment, we usually ask you to stay upright for a few hours, avoid rubbing the treated area, and skip strenuous exercise for the rest of the day. Filler patients may notice mild swelling or tenderness that settles over the following days. Neuromodulator results develop gradually, and we schedule a check-in so we can see how your muscles responded. Because neuromodulators and fillers wear off over time, your provider will help you plan touch-ups around important events rather than right before them.
