What peptides are
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, the same building blocks that make up proteins. Your body already uses many peptides as signals that tell cells when to repair, release hormones, or manage energy. Peptide therapy uses targeted amino acid sequences designed to support specific signaling pathways. Because each peptide has a narrow job, choosing the right one depends on understanding what you want to change.
Areas peptide therapy may support
Peptide protocols at Haus of Wellness are selected for individual goals. Depending on your evaluation, therapy may be designed to support:
- Tissue repair and recovery after injury or hard training
- Healthy hormone signaling
- Focus and cognition
- Weight and metabolic support
- Muscle recovery between workouts
Consultation before any protocol
Peptides are not a supplement you pick off a shelf here. Every plan begins with a consultation with our nurse practitioner, who reviews your health history, current medications, goals, and any relevant lab work. That conversation determines whether peptide therapy is appropriate and, if so, which approach makes sense. Sometimes sleep, hormones, or nutrition deserve attention first. Treatment moves forward only when it is clinically appropriate.
A protocol, not a guess
If peptides are a fit, your provider will explain the protocol in plain language: what it is designed to do, how it is taken, how long a typical cycle lasts, and what to watch for. You will know when to check in and what we will be evaluating. Peptide therapy is medicine, and we manage it with the same care as any prescription.
Responses vary. Any changes, and their timing, differ from person to person. We set expectations honestly and adjust or stop a protocol if it is not serving you.
Peptides alongside your other care
Peptide therapy often works as one part of a broader plan. For some men, pairing it with testosterone replacement therapy may be discussed. It may also be considered alongside medical weight loss support, IV hydration, or our recovery tools, for clients from Bartonville to Argyle and Highland Village, when clinically appropriate. Because our wellness and recovery services are under one roof in Bartonville, your provider can see how each piece fits together and avoid overlap.
Peptide memberships
For clients continuing therapy, peptide memberships provide ongoing provider management, check-ins, and protocol adjustments. Some plans follow established performance, recovery, or longevity blends, while custom protocols are priced after your consultation. Your nurse practitioner will recommend what fits, and current options are listed on our Membership page.
Questions to bring to your consultation
The more context you bring, the better your plan will be. Before your visit, think about what you most want help with, whether that is recovering from an injury, sleeping better, staying sharp at work, or supporting metabolism. Bring a list of current medications and supplements, any recent lab results, and notes on previous treatments you have tried. Your provider will also want to know about upcoming events, travel, and training cycles that might affect timing. We will answer questions about sourcing, storage, and how to take your protocol safely so you feel confident using it at home.
