Symptoms worth a closer look
Persistent fatigue, brain fog, poor sleep, low mood or irritability, or a general sense that something is off can prompt questions about testosterone. These symptoms can have many causes, and low testosterone is only one possibility. A symptom list is not a diagnosis. Comprehensive lab testing and a clinical evaluation help determine whether TRT is appropriate or whether other factors should be considered first.
Labs first, always
Your first visit is a consultation with our nurse practitioner. We talk through your symptoms, health history, medications, sleep, and goals. Then we order comprehensive lab work that looks beyond a single testosterone number, so we can understand related hormones and other markers that affect how you feel and whether therapy would be safe.
Reviewing results with your nurse practitioner helps you understand what your labs may mean in the context of your symptoms and medical history. Testing is one part of the evaluation, not an automatic prescription. If your labs and evaluation do not support TRT, the next conversation is about other factors worth addressing.
Prescribed only when it is supported
Testosterone replacement therapy is a medical treatment. At Haus of Wellness, it is prescribed only when your labs and clinical evaluation support it. If it is appropriate, your provider will explain how your therapy works, how dosing is decided, what side effects to report, and what we will be watching. We do not use TRT as a shortcut and we do not promise specific outcomes. Results vary from man to man.
Ongoing monitoring and follow-up labs
Starting TRT is the beginning of the relationship, not the end. Follow-up labs are scheduled at regular intervals so we can confirm levels are in a healthy range and look for changes that need attention. Regular check-ins with our nurse practitioner give you a place to report how you feel and give us the information needed to adjust your plan. If something shifts, we respond rather than renewing on autopilot.
How TRT fits with the rest of your care
Hormones do not operate in isolation. When clinically appropriate, your provider may discuss pairing TRT with peptide therapy or recovery services such as compression therapy and cryotherapy. In other cases, sleep, nutrition, or weight may need attention first. We look at the whole picture so your plan makes sense as a system.
Men's HRT membership
Our Male HRT membership covers testosterone replacement with regular nurse practitioner visits, periodic labs, progress checks, and medication shipped to your home when prescribed. For men in Bartonville, Flower Mound, and Highland Village, monitoring is part of the membership structure. Women's hormone plans are also available through the same team.
Questions to expect at your first visit
Your nurse practitioner will ask detailed questions, and honest answers help. Expect to talk about your energy across the day, how you are sleeping, alcohol and caffeine, stress at work and at home, training habits, and any medications or supplements you use. Snoring or interrupted sleep is worth mentioning, since sleep problems can affect hormones and how you feel. If you have had testosterone checked elsewhere, bring those results. If you are planning a family in the near future, tell us, because that changes the conversation about therapy.
